Some 600 metres before you reach the village of Matala, Sunrise Studios, with unobstructed views over the lovely surrounding mountain landscape, sit on a hill, between the main village road and a small slip road.
The house sits in pretty and coulourful gardens. The picturesque sandy cove of Matala with its famous cliff side caves is about 900 metres from the house, and the beautiful long open sandy beach of Komos lies some 2 km away. There are 6 apartments (25-35 sqm), attractively set on different terraced levels, of which 3 are on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor, all with air-conditioning (at an extra local charge). Each apartment comprises one bedroom, kitchenette, shower/WC and a balcony with delightful views over the village, the rolling mountains, and the valley of Matala all the way to the sea. Each apartment is ideally for 2-3 people, with one bed in the kitchen and twin beds in the bedroom. Some of the apartments can also accommodate 4 people, as they have a double bed and single bed in the bedroom. Tavernas, restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment can be found in Matala.
