Getting to Athens Airport

By taxi. The journey from downtown Athens to the Airport is 30-40 minutes and costs about 30-35 €

By car. The new Athens airport, Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, is located in Spata, 27 km from Athens centre. A new 6-lane motorway "Attiki Odos", connects the northern suburbs of Athens to the airport. From Syntagma Square (downtown), take Vassilissis Sofias Avenue, then the Messogion Marathonos Avenue, followed by the "Attiki Odos" motorway, which leads to the airport. Journey time: 30-40 minutes
