Luxurious yet ideal for families, the Vritomartis has enormous grounds of 47,000 sqm in the mountains around the outskirts of the charming fishing village of Chora Sfakion which is 65 km from the town of Chania. The hotel combines modern and traditional styles, and offers a highly professional yet friendly service, which seasoned naturists from all over Europe have come to regard most highly.

The pretty pebble cove of Amoundi is 300 metres away, while the hotel has its own private naturist beach  with a snack bar some 900 metres way. In the nearby area, there are further little beaches with water sports and tennis facilities. There is also a private hotel bus as well as a boat for various excursions and trips to the nearby fishing villages. In the entrance area of the hotel is a large lounge with reception and bar. The restaurant, which serves Cretan and International cuisine, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals can also eaten outside on the large sun terrace.

 

Next to the large swimming pool with children's pool, along with sunbeds, sun umbrellas and pool bar, there is a children's playground and video games. There is a hotel shop for newspapers, cigarettes and souvenirs. Of the 92 rooms, 43 of these are in the main building while 49 rooms are situated in nine separate bungalows next door. Hotel activities include a Cretan evening with dancing on the sun terrace. Tavernas, shops and other entertainment can all be found 1.5 km in Chora Sfakion.
