This
delightful well-maintained complex is located right next to the
beautiful sandy beach of Platanias, and 500 metres away from the
centre of this most popular tourist resort. The 62 nicely furnished
apartments are housed in four 2-storey buildings, set amidst pretty
gardens and paved courtyards. Overlooking the beach there is a large
148sqm swimming pool with a separate 50sqm children’s pool,
and a pool bar.
All of the apartments have air conditioning either 1 or 2 units,
and a safety deposit box (local charge). Facilities at the complex
include a reception area, TV lounge, taverna, breakfast room (breakfast
at an extra charge), sauna room, mini-market, table tennis, billiards,
and an underground parking area. There is a daily cleaning service.
Sun beds and umbrellas are available on the beach at an extra charge.
There are three types of accommodation:
A: Nineteen studios for 2-3 people,
having a living/bedroom with twin beds, or twin beds and one sofa
bed, kitchenette, radio, telephone, shower/WC, and a balcony or
terrace with garden views.
B: Forty-one apartments for 2-4 people,
having one bedroom with double bed or twin beds, living/dining area
with two sofa beds, kitchenette, radio, telephone, shower/WC, and
a balcony or terrace with garden views or sea views. Two of the
apartments are arranged in maisonette style.
C: Two apartments for 4-6 people,
having two twin bedded rooms, living/dining area with two sofa beds,
kitchenette, radio, telephone, shower/WC, and a balcony with garden
views.
Tavernas, restaurants, shops and cafes can be found in the centre
of the village. A bus stop with a regular service to the town of
Chania can be found at approx. 150 metres. This is the ideal place
for those looking for a holiday in a lively village, next to the
sea, with all amenities within easy walking distance.
