Swimming pool

These are certainly our most luxurious and beautifully appointed villas, situated in the village of Tavronitis, approximately 300m from the seashore and 19 km west of Chania. The newly built villas are set within large grounds amongst olive groves and fields which in many places extend right down to the beach. Set approximately 25m apart, each of the identical villas has a low walled garden and a private pool. The swimming pool (approx. 28sqm) and surrounding stone paved terraces with sun loungers is set to the front and a traditional stone barbecue to one side. Extensive use of stone and timber, and wooden beams, lend a sense of a well matured old style traditional Cretan home.

With three bedrooms each villa accommodates 6-7 persons. The large living area, is arranged on a raised ground floor level, with to one side the ultimate luxury of a small indoor pool with Jacuzzi jets (8sqm in size) and views over the olive groves. In one villa wrought iron railings separate off the indoor pool, and in the other sliding glass doors. The living area is furnished with a sofa bed, two sofa chairs, an open fireplace, and two dining tables, Satellite TV, DVD and Stereo/CD players, telephone (with internet connection upon request) and air conditioning. A massive stone archway divides off the dining area, breakfast bar, and kitchen which is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, full size electric cooker, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, iron & ironing board. A door from the kitchen leads to the back of the house. Double glass doors from the dining area lead onto a furnished patio terrace offering views to the pool and olive groves. A WC/washbasin is tucked under the stairs.

The wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, en suite shower/WC, air conditioning and a furnished balcony to the side, and front and rear windows giving views of mountains, olive groves and the sea beyond the bamboo groves. The second double bedroom has a safety deposit box and a furnished balcony with views of the sea, partially restricted by trees and bamboo groves. The third bedroom has twin beds and a bathroom/WC equipped with hip-bath, washing machine, and hair-dryer. All of the bedrooms have Satellite TV. Air conditioning within each villa is included in the price.

A long pebble beach is approximately 400 m away, while the nearest mini market and taverna can be found at a distance of 300m, the centre of Tavronitis with cafés and tavernas 500m. A car is recommended.
