Villas of Preveli
Swimming pool These two identical semi detached villas are in a beautiful location on the south coast, some 45 km of Rethymno and about 2 km to the east of Preveli beach where the mountain streams meet the sea and form a unique delta. Idyllically positioned in peaceful private grounds of 4000 sqm, the villas, named Faye and Chryssa, are each 100 sqm in size and can accommodate 4-6 people.
Villa Faye has terraced gardens on three levels having a 32sqm swimming pool with children’s pool and sun loungers, a pergola with patio furniture, and garden benches providing the perfect spot to enjoy the wonderful sunsets. Villa Chryssa has a single level garden and a 45sqm swimming pool with children’s pool, sun beds and patio furniture. Between the villas there is a low stone wall with a cane-fence and wind protection net ensuring a good degree of privacy. On the raised ground floor of each house there is an open plan living/dining room with fireplace, dining table, two sofa beds, and satellite TV, VCR and CD player. From here there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave oven. Off the dining area there is a balcony with a wooden staircase leading down to the gardens. On this level there is also a bathroom/WC with bathtub/shower attachment and a washing machine. Other facilities include air conditioning in both bedrooms (at an extra charge) and an iron/ironing board. On the first floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which both open to a common balcony offering splendid panoramic views of the sea, the beach of Triopetra to the east, and the beautiful Preveli delta to the west. Next to the villas is also a Beachhouse (without pool) that can accommodate 4 people. It has two bedrooms, one double bed and two single beds, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, satellite TV and a shower/WC. Stone steps lead to the beach. A very short distance away there is a taverna, with two more on the nearby beaches. In the little traditional village of Kerames there are two souvlaki outlets, with a mini market 2 km away in Ammoudi. A larger variety of shops and amenities can be found in Spili, 20 km away. This is a great spot for those seeking to relax in natural settings, and for exploring unspoilt beaches.
